Dearest members,

Before we begin I must issue a grave warning. A draft of this events bulletin sat unedited for weeks in the dashboard queue, and something was not quite right.

Awaiting a keen eye for editing, the header read “May Bulletin” — an alligator of an error, sitting just beneath the water, waiting to strike down our reputation for perfect copyediting. May! Uncanny.

A whole month was about disappear right out from under us.

It has me mulling over the only possible explanation: the quantum realm is trying to disappear the month of April all together and we must not let this happen! So, here are your future event opportunities to affirm the month— through relentless participation, we can save April.

Our April Special Event: Character Study [Character Introductions]

Tuesday, April 21th, 7:00PM EST/4:00PM PST (subject to change)

In this workshop series, we're going to talk all about characters, starting with character introductions! Immediate descriptive details can lock in your perception and mental picture of a character, while a lack thereof can lead to something I call ghost character syndrome: what do they look like, who are they, what color hair do they have?! Bring an excerpt of a character intro with you for examination. It could be one line or many paragraphs.
